  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 oranges zested and juiced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup bourbon optional
Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook about 5 minutes, or until tender. Add the salt, paprika and tomato paste to the pot and cook for another couple of minutes while stirring.
  2. Next, mix in the Worcestershire, brown sugar, Sriracha, orange juice and zest and broth. Simmer for 20 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. While the sauce simmers, heat up your grill or grill pan to a medium high heat. Brush the chicken thighs in the remaining oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill the thighs until golden brown, 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Add the thighs to the pot of sauce along with the bourbon, if using, and let simmer for a few minutes to absorb some flavor. Serve with your favorite cornbread recipe and a fresh salad.
